The big crowd of the day returned to Le Mans. After a two-year hiatus from Covid-19, between 230,000 and 250,000 viewers are expected to watch the 90th issue of Le Mans 24 Hours, which begins this Saturday at 4:00 pm (to be followed live on our website).
Sebastian Boemi’s Toyota number 8, which opens the way for his little sister (N.7) on Thursday after the dominance of the Japanese manufacturer in the qualifying round. The two Toyota cars in the high-end category will be followed by Alpine and two prototypes of the American Glickenhaus team.
It should be noted that the conditions so far are ideal, with very light winds enough to freshen the ambient air (24 degrees) before the track warms up in the fabulous 13,626-kilometer route.
