UK officials say Russian troops are running out of supplies, morale –

According to the latest analysis of the British intelligence war in Ukraine, Russian troops are fighting for supply lines and morale is declining.

In a Twitter post released Thursday morning, the Defense Department explained how the Russians changed their lines of attack.

He wrote: “The development of offensive operations in eastern Ukraine is the main goal of Russia’s military forces.

“Russian artillery and air strikes continue on the Donbass line of control.

The Donbas region is located in eastern Ukraine and includes Donetsk and Luhansk, territories partially occupied by pro-Russian rebels after the annexation of Crimea in 2014.

British officials also noticed that Russian forces were trying to influence Ukrainian supplies.

“Russia’s attacks on infrastructure within Ukraine are likely aimed at reducing the supply capacity of the Ukrainian army and increasing pressure on the Ukrainian government.”

However, intelligence suggests that the Russians are actually addressing the supply shortage, along with the lack of morale among its small workers.

The Defense Ministry wrote on Twitter: “As forces and logistical capabilities are redesigned to support operations in the Donbas, it is likely that Russia’s forces will continue to face moral problems and lack of supplies and staff. “

Of course, Russia’s losses are high. By the end of last month, NATO estimated 40,000 soldiers had been killed, wounded, captured or missing. That number is likely to rise in April when Ukrainians manage to drive Russians to various cities, including Kiev and Kharkov.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby went beyond the Department of Defense and expressed confidence that Ukrainian troops could win the war this week.

He told reporters on Wednesday: “Mr. Putin has achieved his goals exactly at zero in Ukraine.

“He did not take Kiev. It did not overthrow the government. It did not exclude Ukraine as a nation state.

“And he really controls a small number of towns, and that’s not what he really means.”

He stressed that the decision was not a signal of a formal antitrust investigation in Mariupol.

However, an earlier Defense Ministry update, released on Wednesday, clarified that Ukrainians are still suffering, despite their various achievements.

Mariupol, for example, a coastal town in eastern Ukraine, is now under siege as the Russians try to sever their ties with the outside world.

“The humane situation in the city [of Mariupol] “It’s getting worse,” officials explained.

“Most of the remaining 160,000 residents do not have access to electricity, communication, medicine, heating or water.

“Russian forces have blocked humanitarian aid and are likely to put pressure on defenders to surrender.”
