A video was released of a Lyft Pennsylvania driver refusing to go to a potential passenger after his racist remarks.
Footage showing driver James Bode telling a woman to “get out” of his car Friday night in the Allentown suburb of Katasakuua on Tuesday morning garnered more than 3.3 million views on Twitter. Police have identified the woman as the owner of a local bar and are conducting an investigation. Morning Call.
“You look like a white man,” the woman told Bode in a clip she posted on Facebook on Friday. “Are you a white kid?” He continued. “Are you a normal kid?” It’s like I’m learning English. “
Bode told the woman that his comments were inappropriate and “he should get out of the car”.

The man, who was with the woman, called Bode a “depraved idiot” and said he should have been hit “in the face”.
Bode called it a “racist fight” when a woman left the car.
The man later called Bode a “madman” and used racist slurs while the car door was locked.
Bode told them the exchange was recorded by a camera in his car and he would call the police.
On Twitter, Lift praised Bode for “immediately stopping this hatred and defending our intolerant policies against discrimination.”
“We are looking for these riders and are in touch with James to express our gratitude,” the company added.
