congresswoman Maricruz Zeta (People’s Force) explained this Thursday that he used a military helicopter with his son and other young volunteers after being stranded while delivering aid in Piura province in Huancabamba. This happened after it turned out that the son of a parliamentarian and his girlfriend were flying on a plane performing operations for the victims of the rains in Piura.
In an interview program Air Rotary from PTR, Maricruz Zeta He said he did not know if the young woman who posted photos of the trip on her social media was in love with her son. In addition, he specified that seven people from his working group and about 10 young people from the group of volunteers flew on the helicopter.
“We traveled in our own vehicles, with our vans, with a group of young volunteers, with my technical team. We were for three days in Huancabamba, in Sondora, Sondorillo, supporting the mayors, governing. He has a group of young volunteers, I don’t know if she is a girl or not, but these are young people who volunteer and support, not from today, but from 2027,” he said.
Maricruz Zeta He explained that as they were returning, a hill collapsed in the Los Ranchos area, causing vans and trucks to get stuck on the road. She claimed that this situation forced her to return to Huankamba with her technical team and young people and request air assistance.
“I called the commander, yes please, he had a flight with humanitarian aid, and the commander told me that the flight was supposed to arrive in Sondorillos. We were supposed to fly from Huancabamba to Sondorillo, and he told me that the flight would arrive with help with two tons of calamine and told me that they could put us on this flight, because the truth is terrible, “he said.
“Who doesn’t take pictures?”
parliamentarian Maricruz Zeta He insisted on pointing out that he did not know if the young woman who appears in the photographs posing inside the helicopter was in love with his son.
“Well, I don’t know, I can’t tell you, I don’t know if I’m in love or not, I don’t know, they are young (…) there are about 20 young people who work there in support,” he said.
Yes, sure Maricruz Zeta He acknowledged that images of a young woman posing in a helicopter cause discomfort to the public, he also defended the girl’s position because she is not political and because “anyone shares a photo” when providing humanitarian assistance.
“I saw that almost everyone took pictures there, who doesn’t take pictures? Girl, I don’t know if she will or not, because, besides her, others took pictures, I took a picture of myself, we all took pictures. Girl, I saw her taking pictures as well as any innocent who is not a politician,” he said.
