The plenum of the Congress of the Republic is evaluating the final report of the constitutional indictment against former Prime Minister Betsy Chavez this afternoon. former Interior Minister Willy Huerta and former head of foreign trade and tourism Roberto Sanchez. From 16:00, the parliamentary representation will decide whether to authorize the National Prosecutor’s Office to continue the investigation of former officials on suspicion of rebellion and conspiracy.
Recall that last Tuesday, March 14, the Permanent Commission, with 24 votes “for” with two “against” with one abstention, approved the final report of the subcommittee on constitutional charges against Chavez Chino.
