Former President Barack Obama sends a heartfelt message to wife Michelle Obama on Mother’s Day Twitter.
She started her tweet by urging people to respect “mothers and mothers” today.
“Good mother’s day! I hope you let all the mothers and mothers in your life know how important they are to you,” Obama wrote.
Obama then thanked his wife for the sacrifices made by his 23-year-old daughters Malia and 20-year-old Sasha for motherhood.
“Michelle Obama, thank you for being a wonderful mother to our daughters and to many others around the world.”

During the tribute to her husband, Michelle Obama honored her mother, Marianne Robinson, on Mother’s Day by sharing a new exhibit named after her at the Obama Presidential Center.
The former First Lady spoke positively about her mother while discussing the new “Opening the White House” exhibition. Instagram video.
“My mother gave me that constant and unconditional love, which was so important to me growing up. “In so many ways, it instilled in me a deep sense of confidence in who I am and who I am,” Obama said in a short video.
The next exhibition will showcase “elements to bring community, family, people and create a welcoming space”.
