The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a note on Monday Embassy of Colombia with Peru’s vigorous protest against a new act of presidential intervention Gustavo Petro on domestic political issues.

Via twitter account officeit was noted that the behavior of the President of Colombia did not comply with international law.

Last Saturday the President Gustavo Petro questioned the police operation at the National University of the Mayor of San Marcos, where 193 people were detained, of which 192 have already been released

The President of Colombia then indicated that Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) should be called upon to study the situation in our country.

Shortly thereafter, Cabinet Minister Alberto Otarola responded to the President Colombia and told him to take care of the affairs of his country and that the Permanent Council of the OAS might well “consider the massacres that took place during his reign”.

Similar action with Bolivia

Earlier, it was reported from Torre Tagle that a note was also sent to the Bolivian Ambassador to Peru, Carlos Aparicio, through which he conveyed a “strong protest” against the statements of the country’s President Luis Arce on domestic policy.

According to information released by international agencies, the day before the President of Bolivia said that Peru is fighting for the restoration of democracy.

“Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented a note Ambassador of Bolivia through which a vigorous protest is broadcast against the statements of President Luis Arce on domestic policy issues,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
