The court will proceed to the next Thursday 9 March evaluation of the prosecutor’s request for a 36-month pre-trial detention against Lilia Paredes, the wife of former President Pedro Castillo, in the preliminary investigation being carried out in the “Angii” case.

On the same day, the justice of the peace will begin consideration of the prosecutor’s request for a 36-month pre-trial detention in respect of Walter and David Paredes Navarrothe brothers of the wife of the former head of state, appearing in this preliminary investigation.
During the court session held on January 6, the prosecutor Jorge Garcia Juarez gave a report Judge Raul Justiniano about his request for 36 months of pre-trial detention in respect of these people after withdrawing the original request he made to impose a warrant to appear with restrictions and an obstacle to leaving the country for 03 years in this case.
The magistrate reported that a preliminary detention was requested for these three persons, as both the procedural danger and the elements of a guilty verdict increased in relation to the charges brought against each of them in this criminal process.
