‘>Culture, Leslie Urteaga Peñawelcomed the decision of the Defense Front, Chamber of Commercetourism unions, the Union of Producers, the unions of artisans and other unions of the city of Machu Picchu, to suspend the protests on January 4 and rely on dialogue.
“Yesterday, on Monday, January 2, we had an agreement with some organizations of the city district. Machu Picchuwho had the intention to join this stop (since January 4) and we reached an agreement. They indicated that it is in dialogue that they see the best solution to their problems in the management, conservation, as well as economic development Machu Picchu city, in relation to our archaeological zone,” he said.
