In March, the artist spoke out against the war in Ukraine, after which he was banned from entering the Russian Federation for 50 years.
Uzbek singer Nargiz Zakirova, who condemned the war in Ukraine, was not allowed in Russia. He said this in an interview.
According to him, he flew to Moscow, but at Domodedovo Airport, passport control officials told the star that he was banned from entering the country for 50 years.
“This is not a deportation. I flew to Tashkent on my own business, stayed here for about a month, then I had to fly back to Moscow. I flew, I handed my passport to the control. The woman looked, said : ” You need additional verification ” “I didn’t even pay attention. Suddenly, two people approached me from behind and quietly said: “Nargiz, hello, please go to the side,” she said.
Nargiz added that together with the workers she went to the administrative building, where she was told that she had no right to visit the Russian Federation.
“We walked away, they said almost crying: “We apologize, but you are banned from entering for 50 years.” I said: “On what basis?” And they: “Well, you understand … Excuse me, can I take a picture with you? “I said:” Of course, you can. “I reacted calmly, but what can I do? It’s not their fault,” she added.
It was previously reported that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs imposed sanctions against 100 Canadian citizens for their support for Ukraine.
