The Ukrainian director will present Eurovision 2023 in Britain

The first and second semi-finals will take place on 9 and 11 May 2023. The final of the song contest will be held on May 13.

Clipmaker German Nenov became the director and creative director of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 from Ukraine. The BBC reported it.

It was noted that he, together with the head of the Ukrainian delegation Oksana Skibinskaya and executive producer Tatyana Semyonova, will be responsible for the visual representation of our country at the international song contest, which will be held in Liverpool.

“My personal creative mission is to create beauty, and I promise that all the beauty and all dimensions of Ukrainian culture and art will be shown this year at Eurovision 2023! I really want to make sure that the European audience can move away from stereotyped. presentations about Ukraine. I want to show our country modern, but at the same time authentic,” he wrote on Facebook.

At the same time, Dan Shipton became the creative director of the competition. The semi-finals and finals will be produced by three directors – Richard Valentine, Ollie Bartletty and Nikki Parsons.

Kojo Samuel will be responsible for the musical arrangement, and Julio Himede will be responsible for the stage and scenery. BAFTA award winners Robert Edwards and Tim Routledge will serve as the broadcast’s sound engineer and lighting designer.

It was previously reported that TVORCHI will represent Ukraine at the competition in Liverpool.
