The portrait of the head of state was bought by Ukrainian businessman Oleksandr Konotopsky, CEO of Ajax Systems.

A photo of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the cover of American Time magazine was sold at auction for six million hryvnias. This was announced by photographer Alexander Chekmenev on Facebook.

It was mentioned that earlier it was planned to buy a generator for the school in Bogdanovka with the received funds. Now it is possible to provide all schools in the Kyiv region with generators.

“At the Forbes Ukraine charity auction in Kyiv, Zelensky’s photo, taken on April 19, 2022 in Kyiv for the cover of TIME magazine, was sold for UAH 6 million. All the money will be used to buy generators for in schools in the Kyiv Region. And I want to raise money for the purchase of at least one generator for a school in Bogdanovka,” he wrote.
