The apiary was built near the brand’s enterprise in Crewe. To do this, they planted a whole field of daffodils, from which bees collect pollen.
British car manufacturer Bentley has opened a new line of business. The company started beekeeping and introduced its first honey. This was stated on Bentley’s official website.
In May 2019, the company launched the Flying Bees project. Translated, it sounds like “flying bees.”
Then 120,000 bees were bought, and the well-known honey company Buckley Bees acted as a partner of Bentley.
Today, the bee colony has reached 600,000 insects and by 2022 it will have produced 1,000 jars of honey.
Bentley honey has not yet been purchased. Most of it will be distributed to the workers of the plant, and the rest will be kept in the enterprise and they plan to treat VIP guests.
Recall that Bentley has decided to completely stop the production of cars with internal combustion engines in 2030 and switch to the production of exclusively electric vehicles.
