“I was recently diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called stiffness syndrome, which affects 1 in a million people. Although we are still studying this rare disease, we now know that it is the cause of all my spasms. Unfortunately, these spasms affect all aspects of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulty walking and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I used to. It pains me to tell you now that I’m not ready to continue my European tour in February,” she said.
Celine Dion added, there is no cure for the disease, but it can be slowed down, so the actress will focus on her health.
“To contact you again, I have no other choice but to focus on my health at the moment and I hope that I am on the road to recovery. This is my goal and I am doing my best to regain my strength, ” summed up the Canadian singer.
