Pantone unveils the color of the year 2023

The Executive Director of the Color Institute said that Viva Magenta comes from the red family and is inspired by the color, the brightest natural dye.

Experts from the American Pantone Color Institute have determined the main color of 2023. This was reported on the company’s Instagram page.

In particular, the carmine red hue is called Viva Magenta 18-1750 and is described as “an unconventional red for an unconventional time”.

“Pantone’s Color of the Year, Viva Magenta 18-750, vibrates with vitality and energy. It is a shade rooted in nature, derived from the red family and expressing a new sign of strength. Viva Magenta is a bold and fearless, pulsating color whose saturation promotes a happy and optimistic celebration, creating a new narrative,” the message said.
