The star stressed that the business is not profitable, but continues to work to provide employment to people.
Ukrainian singer Jamala spoke about her husband Bekir’s cafe. An establishment in the center of Kyiv was destroyed by a Russian missile during shelling on 10 October. The star admitted this in an interview with ZhVL.
“Everything was really broken and the equipment, glasses were broken. But that’s it. The day started there and the baristas came, who went out to rest or smoke. This is the beginning of the work day. And this is the main thing that they came out. The main thing is that everyone is alive! Someone was hurt, but they are alive,” said Jamala.
According to him, the next day the coffee shop started working again. This was made possible thanks to the help of the staff and a charitable foundation, which jointly restored the building.
Remember that earlier Jamala asked the Ukrainians for help.
