According to the artist, the people of Ukraine are fighting for their country and future, while after the armed invasion the people of the Russian Federation are not.

The Ukrainian musician, leader of the Vopli Vidoplyasov band Oleg Skrypka believes that it is more difficult for Russians than for Ukrainians, because they have no future. He said this in an interview on radio Eden.

“Sometimes fans write to me in private messages. I don’t really enter into a dialogue, but it’s clear that people are really suffering. In general, I think it’s clear that Ukraine is going through difficult times now, but I think it’s much more difficult for the Russians now and will be. We have a future and they don’t have a future. That’s the story,” he said.

At the same time, he added that life is difficult for citizens of the Russian Federation who left the aggressor country in 2014. The artist knows some of them personally and has talked with them.

“I ask these people: “We are suffering now, our homeland is suffering, but we have our own country and we are fighting for it. And how do you like it?” And the man said: “I don’t have a homeland.” And I’m trying to myself how I can live like that. In general it’s very difficult. These are people who don’t have a homeland. It’s difficult for me to think, “said Oleg Skrypka.

Earlier it was reported that Oleg Skrypka spoke about the death of a young performer who sang his composition Spring.
