In this rectangular steel case, the mineral waves of these stones with bluish or green reflections emphasize the sobriety of the hour display, reduced to two sword-shaped hands. A first for the brand and an elegant way to highlight just the name and the “Made in France” label.
Why this preference for hard stones? “It was obvious. explains Mathieu Herbelin, creative director of the house. We wanted to bring our iconic watch into a more jewelry, more couture space. I was looking for natural and beautiful materials. Here the material is expressed as a whole number. I like this unique profile, this unique design that is connected to the inner qualities of the stone.”
