The comedian announced the break from the shows in December 2021, after almost 10 years of career. He revealed that the decision was made after a show in Rio de Janeiro.
“Yesterday was the meeting to decide on the future of my life and career, after much realizing that nothing is taken from this life, neither fame nor glory, much less everything I buy with what I earn with it.”, it started.
“I realize the amount of people who go there looking for a direction and not just looking for a smile, and I wanted to do more for these people, more than ‘laughter for money’, which is what it seems to me, Not that I don’t like it But my next and last show is gonna be a farewell show, not forever why doesn’t it exist, no one stops forever I love being on stage but I’ve been on it for almost ten years old.”, said.
“I traveled around Brazil and saw so many people in so many situations that I get embarrassed when someone doesn’t have 30 reais to laugh with everyone. I don’t bother with fame because I’m only loved by people as I am because they know me, and I I love this love, but it affected me on other levels and I think I still don’t know how to deal with it, I need to assimilate it, and understand what to do with it.”, completed.
Whindersson had said that his farewell show would call This is not a cult, according to him, the public goes to his shows to seek a friendly word.
