The electric hatchback has made his debut on Munich and will be a competitor with the legendary Volkswagen Golf.
In Munich, Hyundai presented a new concept of three electric hatchbacks, which will be the basis for the serial Ioniq 3. This model aims to challenge Volkswagen Golf, which is also preparing to move on to a full -time electrical platform.
The concept of three, or as well as the Aero Hatch, stands in a futuristic design and practicality. At 4,288 mm long, it includes a class of compact hatchbacks. Designer Language Art of Steel’s art emphasizes the dynamics thanks to the sharp lines and silhouette of the coupe. The car received a low nose nose, a sharp tilted roof and back window in the 2008 Honda Civic style, making the evolution of a worse -ruined Hyundai Veloster, but with four doors.
Lighting equipment is made in corporate pixel style, but has a new gradient effect. Some concept features-in the particular “wings of the seagulls” of the rear doors-will remain only showing elements, but the general dynamic silhouette will remain in the serial model. A version of N sports with an aggressive diffuser, a transparent spoiler and extended wings is also expected.
The concept of three interiors is radically different from modern trends. Hyundai left the giant sensory screens in favor of minimalism: instead of a built -in display, the driver could install his own gadget. The chairs are made in the form of capsule seats from friendly materials.
Official features have not been disclosed, but it is expected that Ioniq 3 will divide the platform with the KIA EV3, that is, it is based on 400-volt architecture. This solution will make cars cheaper than models in the 800-volt system (such as Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6). Versions with one or two electric motorcycles, as well as two battery packages, are supplied. The stroke in the top adjustment can reach 628 km.
The production of Ioniq 3 for the European market begins in 2027.
We remind you, earlier that Hyundai introduced Ioniq 6 N. Electric Sedan.
