Seoul Police launched an investigation against South Korea rapper Psy (Real Name – Park Che San), known thanks to the hit of the Gangnam Style World. The actress is suspected of violating health law. Yonhap reported it.
According to the investigation, beginning in 2022, the singer has received recipes for psychotropic drugs KSANAX and Zolpidem by mediators, including a manager, without visiting the doctor in person. Information about this came from an unidentified source, after which the police searched for a medical institution and took the documents.
The performer doctor denied a violation, emphasizing that Psy was treated remotely. In this regard, artist agency P National published a statement saying:
“Psy was diagnosed with a chronic sleep illness, so she took sleeping pills while prescribed by the doctor. But she did not receive any prescriptions by mediators, though there were cases when third parties received drugs on her behalf.”
