The band Finnish Rock, which acted as the Atlas Festival 2025, spoke of a shocking experience of air anxiety and admiration for the strength of the Ukrainians.
Finnish Rock’s band The Rasmus, which in July became a foreign Hadliner Atlas Festival 2025 at Kyiv, shared emotions from staying in Ukraine.
Musicians admitted that the early hours in capital became a real test for them – instead of resting after the road, they were in the shelter because of the massive attack of the Russian Federation.
Group vocalist Lauri Yulenen in an interview with MUV told us that this experience was surprising for them:
“For the first time they had experience in the pump shelter, because anxiety was sound and it was dangerous. We followed the course of events by phone. And it was scary. You, Ukrainians, are not brave.
Musicians emphasized that they were most hurt by the silence of the people of Kiev. At first for the anxiety team, they were in Independence Maidan, where people kept walking their business, despite the danger.
“When the first alarm for us started with Kyiv, we were in Maidan of freedom. We immediately went to a safe place in the car, but the people in the squares and streets kept walking, doing their own business. We all said:” What is it? “But we understand that it has been going on for a long time. You’re used to it,” Yulenen shared.
Rasmus emphasized that the existence of KYIV, they understood the size of the trials faced by the Ukrainians day -day. According to the artists, even for many days in a constant state of threats left a strong impression on them, and the durability of the Ukrainians should be respected within three years of war.
Earlier it was reported that Finnish rock band Rasmus came to Kyiv to become the Hadliners of the Atlas Festival.
