Kia presented the first -electrical car of the Beond Vehicle platform series -PV5 model. According to the EV report, freshness is primarily focused on corporate customers and, thanks to the modular approach, offers up to 16 different options for specific business needs.
The model is built on the new E-GMP.S platform, which uses standard ingredients to reduce the production cycle. PV5 design is implemented in accordance with the principle of flexible body system – the body is made up of prepared -modules: doors, panels, glasses, sides and other elements that can be replaced. All versions have the same standard in front of the cab.
The electric car is available using LFP and NCM type battery 43.3, 51.5 or 71.2 kW · h. All options work on the tandem with an electric motor with a capacity of 163.2 hp. Depending on the version, different chairs are placed: 2-3-0, 2-2-3 or 1-2-3. In changes with a high ceiling, the volume of shipment compartment reached 5.1 sq.m.
When developing, Kia actively interacts with testers from around the world – in South Korea, Japan, Europe, North America and the Middle East, events held on PBV Partners Day. More than 120 partners shared reviews after trial trips, and many of these comments were considered in the final design.
At the start of the production, the company will release seven changes, including passenger (elongated passengers), freight standards (usually shipment), shipment (extended freight) and high roof (shipment with high ceilings).
