The sentence hearing is scheduled for December 3, 2025. Until this moment, the doctor will remain free on bail. In a statement sent by attorneys, Planxia said she would reject a medical license over the next six weeks.
“He fully accepts responsibility, finding himself guilty of spreading drugs, and finding his inability to protect Perry, a patient who is especially vulnerable to hope,” the doctor said in an official statement.
