Ukrainian rapper and soldier Yarmak returned to concert activities – for the first time since the beginning of an entire war war, he went on stage at the Atlas celebration at Kyiv.
At a press conference, the artist said he is now mandating the Darknode Fighting Technological Unit as part of the 412th Nemesis Regiment Forces of Unmanned Armed Forces of Ukraine. His team specializes in blocking enemy drones and the technical support of aerospace.
“For the fourth month we have been the best unit for blocking air goals in all units of Ukraine defense forces. We are accustomed to it and clearly realize what the situation is today,” the rapper said.
He emphasized that the front situation remains complicated, but it is culture and national music that is a strong weapon in the struggle for awareness.
“Our youth is still listening to many Russia’s content. It implies a serious gap in a culture that needs to be forced to be filled. I can’t stand,” Yarmak explained.
His performance has three main goals:
