The updated Qashqai with an innovative hybrid system will appear in Europe in September 2025.

Nissan announced the launch of a new generation of hybrid e-power technology, which debuted the European market with the updated version of the Qashqai crossover.

According to the manufacturer, the updated system shows significant improvements in efficiency: the average fuel consumption is reduced to 4.5 l/100 km, giving you to overcome up to 1200 km in a tank. CO2 leaks were reduced by 12% – up to 102 g/km. In the cabin, the noise level was reduced to 5.6 dB, and the power plant strength increased by 15 hp, up to 202 hp. In sport mode, which activates an additional power growth of 13 hp.

The principle of the E-Power system has not changed: a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a turbocharger nourishes an electrical motor and a battery with a capacity of 2.1 kWh. Energy also accumulates due to recovery. Such architecture allows you to get rid of traditional delivery and provide an instant response similar to an electric car.

All the main components – motor, generator, inverter, gearbox and converter increase – are integrated into the compact module, which improves ergonomics and general efficiency.

Engineers also introduced new viscosity oils, reducing internal friction and increasing maintenance intervals from 15 thousand to 20 thousand km. As a result, the updated Qashqai E-Power became more economical by 16% in the city and 14% on the highway compared to its predecessor.

The new Qashqai e-Power will be made in the plant in Sanderland (Great Britain), and its sales in Europe will begin in September 2025. Later, the model will appear in Africa and Oceania. Prices will be reported closer to the start of sales.

We will remind you, earlier that Nissan was reported to have introduced the version of the Sports of the Armada.
