Toyota Corolla Touring will be a separate line to the new generation Corolla

In 2026, the model will receive three versions: basic, crossover and sports change with 304 HP turbo engine.

Toyota is preparing a huge -scale update of the Corolla model, the premiere of which is expected in 2026. According to the Japanese Bestcarweb publication, the new generation will include three body types -sedan, hatchback and station’s stations, but special attention will be paid to Corolla Touring, which will actually be a separate family line.

The new tour of the Corolla will appear in three versions: the main station’s main stations for daily use, cross-service with off-road elements and a sporting model with a turbocharged power unit.

According to preliminary data, all changes are equipped with hybrid power plants. The main version will receive a new 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an electric motor on the hybrid and plugin-hybrid adjustment.

The crossover version will have an expanded road clearance, a protective body kit made of unplastic plastic and changed in front of the body. It has not been confirmed if it will receive it all -wheel drive.

A sporting change will receive a 1.6-liter three-cylinder G16E-GTS turbo engine with a capacity of 304 HP, already known for GR Yaris and GR Corolla models. It is known that it is equipped with a gr-four all-wheel drive system, developed considering the Toyota experience at the World Rally Championship.
