Something new from China sets a new screen renewal standard, but with a compromise on resolution and ports.
The Super Display Company has officially announced the flash 540-made-the first gaming OLED monitor with support for an intense 720 Hz update frequency. According to Videocardz, the device was built based on the 26.5-column OLED-P-panel of the fourth generation from the LG display with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 picses, the response time of 0.03 ms and the main RGB tandem technology.
By default, the monitor operates at a frequency of 540 Hz, however, especially for e -Sports disciplines in it provides a mode with a frequency of 720 Hz. At the same time, it is expected that in order to activate this regime it must reduce permission, even if it has not been officially confirmed. Analysts note that it is almost impossible to achieve a stable 720 Hz frequency in resolving 1440P even with the most modern video cards. This mode is probably relevant only for light or old games, as well as for the popular E -Sports discipline, where maximum image smoothness is important.
Flash 540 -Reta shows a high pinnacle of 1500 kd/sq.m., DCI color space ranges -P3 at 99.5% and contrasts 1,500,000: 1. The monitor is certified according to the HDR TB 500 standard and has an anti -reflecting anti -Reflection Coeofficient of only 2%.
Despite the revolutionary features of the panel, the Flash 540-META failed in the ports. The device is only equipped with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 interfaces, while modern displayports 2.1 and HDMI 2.2 are absent. This can limit the device’s potential for a high -based video output to future adjustments.
The monitor price is about $ 1000. Flash 540 -meta is primarily focused on China and Japan markets – the SDC does not provide its monitors to other countries.
The new one broke Samsung’s record, which recently created an OLED monitor with a frequency of updating 500 Hz.
