The standard OPTIQ has 300 hp. And 480 nm of torque from a two -engine all -wheel drive installation, but the OPTIQ -V version shows performance at a new level -515 HP, 881 nm of torque and accelerating 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds in max speed mode.
Due to the increased strength, the range is reduced: OPTIQ-V is pushing about 443 km to a battery with a capacity of 85 kW · h, while an ordinary OPTIQ has succeeded at 486 km according to the EPA cycle.
OPTIQ-V has become the first GM electric car with a Tesla connector, which provides access to the supercharger charger network. However, due to the location of the charger on the front left wing, and not from the back to the left or front to the right, like Tesla, the drivers will have to park two places at the V3 stations with short cables. It is expected that by updating the stations in version V4, this problem will disappear.
The V-series model is equipped with unique functions that are not in the basic version: Adjustable V-Mode, Track Competite Mode, Launching the Control System and Brembo brakes with red or blue calipers. Also, the standard is an advanced help system for the Super Cruise driver from General Motors.
OPTIQ-V sales will start in the fall of 2025 in the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Middle East and Israel. The estimated price in the United States starts at $ 68795, which is $ 14405 more expensive than the main OPTIQ AWD and about $ 11 thousand cheaper than Lyriq-V, worth $ 80 thousand.
