Kia has officially introduced the new model of Carens Clavis -a three -row minivan for the Indian market, which has highlights the premium decoration and design, inspired by the EV5 electric model.
The front of Clavis received EV5 LED optics, a narrow radiator living room and a brutal bumper in front with a lining silver protection. The car’s profile is almost identical to the usual carens, but the new thing updates the edge thresholds, exclusive 17-inch two tones disc and a new shade of ivory silver gloss body. With tight, narrower horizontal lanterns and a redesigned bumper are installed, making the look closer to the brand’s electric vehicle.
The salon received an updated instrument panel, but kept the layout for six or seven seats. The digital cockpit includes two 10.25-inch displays. A new steering wheel and a modified interior decoration also appeared. Top trim levels provide front ventilation chairs, an eight -speaking bose audio system, a panoramic hatch, a circular examination, atmospheric backlight and a package of security systems with support for the second level of autonomy.
Clavis receives familiar machines – 1.5 -liter gasoline and diesel unit. The atmospheric gasoline engine produces 113 HP, turbocharged – 158 HP, diesel – 114 HP cars are available with mechanical or automatic delivery, all changes are anteroplative. The strongest turbo engine in Clavis can order with sixspeed mechanics – this is one of the differences from the major cares.

Despite the fact that Clavis does not have an electric drive yet, KIA confirmed last year the development of the electrical version of Carens. Perhaps, it will be Clavis who will be the basis for this future model, which should be debuting in the second half of 2025.
An initial conclusion for Carens Clavis begins in India on May 9. So far, prices are not announced, but it is clear that freshness will be more expensive than the usual version of the carens, which will remain on sale as a more affordable alternative.
