The American director came to Kyiv to support Ukrainians and made a movie about their struggle for freedom.
In April this year, famous American clipmaker and director Semuel Baer, who shot video for Nirvana, Metallica, Green Day, as well as advertising for Coca-Cola and Nike, came to Ukraine.
During the visit, he not only expressed Ukraine’s support in the war with Russia, but also began to work in the film about our country’s anesthesia.
On April 17, Baer met with students of the Kyiv National University of Theater, movie theater and television named Karpenko-Heal. The meeting was fixed with the help of Nikolai Sergi, the founder of the “Cultural Forces” initiative. It was during this visit that the first days of shooting in the future project began, which, according to the director, was designed to show the world a long -term struggle of Ukrainians for freedom.
After returning to the United States, Baer published on Instagram from Kyiv near the Mother’s Mother’s Mother Monument and sharply condemned the Missile Shelling of the capital on April 24, as a result of which at least 12 people were killed, and nearly 100 were injured.
“Glory to Ukraine! I just came back from the beautiful country last night. I had new friends, and I met incredible -belief. My heart was broken when I heard about missiles and drones aimed at an innocent civilian population – it was terrorism, not a war,” the director wrote.
Earlier it was reported that Sean Penn visited military personnel of special operations that were deployed in Kropyvnitsky.
