Nexo can drive more than 700 km in a refueling, the manufacturer says.
At the International Seul Mobility show, Hyundai presented a second -generation Nexo electric car.
The new Nexo reached 4750 mm long, the width was 1865 mm, the height was 1640 mm, with a tire of 2790 mm.
The electric car received an enhanced hydrogen power plant – total capacity increased from 184 hp. Up to 258 HP, which is allowed to reduce acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h to 7.8 seconds. The company says the car can drive more than 700 km to a five -minute refueling with hydrogen.
The new Nexo salon became more spacious – thanks to the increase in body size, the trunk expanded to 993 liters. In addition, the car is equipped with premium chairs with relaxation, improved climate control and innovative materials, in particular biocon and processed polymers.
Hyundai engineers also worked in aerodynamics, which would optimize underneath and air streamlines flowing around the car.
Among the new technologies in the car are an interactive CCNC display with two 12.3-inch screens, a premium Bang & Olufsen Audio system with 14 speakers, including the FCEV Route planner, which offers optimal routes considering stations taking hydrogen refueling stations and advanced driver’s assistance system Cruise, along with adaptive ignition, including advanced controls, including advanced driver systems. Parking assistants, collision prevention systems, etc.
Hyundai Nexo will begin to sell in the global market next year.
