In a letter, sent to the White House and received by Thewrap, the signatures emphasized that the changes suggested by companies would “operate free of the creative and scientific industry of America, despite the billions of income of these corporations.”

Signers are warning: Copyright weakening will allow technological corporations “to use movies, TV shows, music, paintings and books” for teaching their algorithms for free, which threatens not only theaters, but all creative professions.
