The largest fashion event in the country will have its first edition of the year on April 6 to 11 and has already revealed which designers will be
São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW), one of the most emblematic events of the national fashion calendar, is scheduled to take place from April 6 to 11, 2025. The celebration of its 30 years will feature parades held at JK Iguatemi, Higienópolis House and in various external locations.
With the release of the N59 line-up, the event promises to bring a total of 17 parades, which mark the beginning of the festivities. It is noteworthy that edition number 60 already has its dates defined, taking place between October 14 and 19.
Initially, the program foresaw the parades between April 7 and 10, but the 6th was added to accommodate the inaugural presentation of the Aluf brand, scheduled for 17h. The last day of the event, April 11, will be reserved for three external parades.
Among the brands that make their debut in this edition of SPFW are Leandro Castro and Mnmal. Leandro Castroformer participant of the House of Breeders, is recognized for his ability to create pieces using hybrid technologies and recycled materials, presenting his collection on April 9. According to the disclosure of the event, he “builds pieces with technological, ancestral and handmade doing”. Mnamal, under the direction of Flávio Gamaum, It will show its essentialist and sophisticated aesthetics on April 10, with a strong commitment to sustainability.
Premieres and Continuation
The program will also include Brazilian fashion icons that solidify SPFW as a platform for artistic experimentation. The return of Piet, brand of designer Pedro Andrade, is highlighted, which is famous for its refined streetwear aesthetics and genuine connection with urban culture. This return reinforces the relevance and evolution of the brand in the fashion scenario both national and international.
The presence of authorial and conceptual fashion will be evidenced by brands such as Aluf and Dendezeiro. Aluf will present his textile innovations while Dendezeiro brings a unique perspective on Brazilian identity. Furthermore, Patricia Vierarenowned for its leather work, and João Pimentaknown for their innovative tailoring, promise to further enrich the narrative of this edition.
