In the past, the Supercar has stopped selling in Europe, Australia and North America due to safety regulation, and GT-R is now leaving the Japanese native market.

Japanese vehicle manufacturer Nissan has officially closed the acceptance of orders for Supercar GT-R, which has been sold since 2007. On the Japanese manufacturer’s Japanese website, a message has emerged that customers have exhausted the Nissan GT-R number planned for labor, and no longer accepted orders.

GT-R sales in Europe were completed in July 2021 due to updated noise standards in Europe. Australian side strikes in Australia forced Nissan to complete sales on the continent in November 2021, and the latest GT-R models in North America were sold on October 2024.

Nissan GT-R debuted in 2007 and was the afternoon response to Chevrolet Corvette. For 17 years, the car had hardly received updates, except for facelifting twice, and remained in the 3.8-liter V-6 engine with a double turbocharging. The first GT-R appeared on sale with 471 horse strength, while the final version of GT-R nismo released 600 hp.

Nissan did not plan to release the GT-R’s “successor” in the near future, but in 2024 the company presented the concept of hyper force-an electric car based on the GT-R. Then the Nissan design director said the concept had the opportunity to become a production model closer to 2030.

Meanwhile, it was found that in Europe they changed the CO₂ calculation strategy for automakers. The new solution will ensure greater freedom of action for the industry while maintaining established goals and protecting automakers from large fines.

In France, they burned the Tesla office representative.
