In Ukraine, a comedian has long been known for its support of Russia’s invasion – even after Crimea’s union.
The European Union has applied sanctions to Russian comedic actor Mikhail Galustyan. The comedian’s name is listed in the list of people’s absorption of the next package of EU penalties against Russia, which is reported today.
Along with Galustyan, chess player Sergey Karjakin, propagandist Christina Drytchik and TV present Julia Baranovskaya fell on the list.
Among the business representatives, AFK owner Vladimir Yevtushenkov, the general director of concern Almaz-Antei Yang Novikov, the head of the board of director Mechel Igor Zyuzin, the internal director of Inter, Sergey Dregval, president of The The South School Service, Konstantin Strukov and others, fell under penalties.
Remember, Galustyan is known for his support for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Since January 7 last year, it has been under the penalties of the National Security and Defense Council. In 2019, the actor fell on the site Peacemaker’s site blacklist for “conscious violation of the Ukraine state’s border” and “illegal commercial activity” in Crimea.
Noteworthy, in April 2023, Galustyan said he was also a citizen of Armenia.
