Prosecutors in Los Angeles said the musician was not charged with sexual and domestic violence due to the law of limitations and lack of evidence.
On Friday, January 24, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced that musician Marilyn Manson was not charged with cases related to sexual and domestic violence. The New York Post reported it.
The decision was the result of a four -year investigation of prosecutors and detectives.
“We have determined that home violence charges are not subject to the law of limitations, and we cannot prove sexual attacks beyond a reasonable doubt,” Hochman said.
The 56-year-old musician has been accused of rape, sexual assault, torture and psychological coercion of more than ten women, including his ex-wife, actress Evan Rachel Wood.
“We recognize and applaud the courage and resilience of women to deal with and share their experiences, and we thank them for their cooperation and patience during the investigation,” the prosecutor said.
Let us note that by the end of 2020, women publicly accused Marilyn Manson of sexual and psychological violence, as well as various forms of intimidation. However, the investigation does not lead to legal cases.
It was previously reported that Marilyn Manson voluntarily went to the police and surrendered to cases of injury to a videographer.
