South Korean actor Im Siwan supported Ukrainian business and donated more than 16 thousand dollars to help refugees during the war.

Popular South Korean actor Im Siwan, known for his role in the TV series Squid Game, has expressed his support for Ukraine since the beginning of a full-scale war.

In March 2022, the actor booked a room in one of the Kyiv hotels for a month. Although he does not plan to go to the capital, this is his way of supporting Ukrainian business in difficult times.

“Hello, I just book your hotel for a month, and of course I will not come that you and the people in Kyiv will be safe,” the actor wrote in a letter to the hotel owners.

In addition, Im Siwan made a generous donation – about 16.4 thousand dollars – to the Ukrainian Embassy in South Korea. These funds were used to help Ukrainian refugees.

It was previously reported that the leader of the British rock band Muse Matthew Bellamy showed his support for Ukraine in the war with Russia.
