The First Lady of Ukraine shared how her family faced the challenges of the war, and spoke about the indestructibility of Ukrainians, as well as about her children’s life in the capital.
The wife of the President of Ukraine, Elena Zelenskaya, spoke for the first time in a long time about her children and told how her family lives in war conditions.
In an interview with Italian host Bruno Vespi, the first lady shared her thoughts about the 1000 days of Ukrainian resistance and her family’s life in Kyiv.
Together with President Vladimir Zelensky, Elena is raising two children: 20-year-old daughter Alexandra and 11-year-old son Kirill. According to him, their family, like most Ukrainians, remains at home, despite constant threats and shelling.
“It is not easy until we see our success, however, we try to look at these 1000 days as 1000 days of resilience, endurance, working for success,” said the first lady.
Elena Zelenskaya also added that their children did not leave Ukraine during the war and stayed in Kyiv. For safety reasons, she refrains from revealing details about her children’s lives.
“I can’t share all the details because of their safety, however, we are all in Ukraine, in Kyiv and sometimes on a business trip, sometimes my children are only in Ukraine. I can’t do anything else more details to tell me,” he explained.
The First Lady reiterated the indomitability of the Ukrainian people and emphasized that her family, along with the country, is waiting for victory.
It was previously reported that Elena Zelenskaya spoke about her daughter’s boyfriend to the president.
