The singer’s daughter Taisiya Povaliy expressed disagreement with the VAKS decision regarding the confiscation of her mother’s property in Kyiv, comparing it to Soviet methods.

Musician Denis Povaliy, the son of famous singer Taisiya Povaliy, spoke publicly against the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) to confiscate his mother’s property in Kyiv.

In his Instagram stories, he questioned the legality and morality of such a decision, calling it the “soviet method.”

Povaliy said that not all residents of the confiscated house share the singer’s point of view. “Can a man really be denied everything for his position?” – he asked, comparing VAKS actions with Soviet training and asking the question: “What were we fighting for then?

The musician also noted that they have five days to file an appeal, but expressed doubts about the real reasons for such a hard position of the court, calling attention to the search for real corrupt officials.
