Paul Di’Anno, former vocalist of the cult band Iron Maiden, has died at the age of 66. The BBC reported this.

Music label Conquest Music said the musician passed away at his home in Salisbury, UK.

Iron Maiden also expressed deep sadness at the loss, noting Di’Anno’s significant contributions early in the band’s history: “His leading presence as frontman and vocalist, both on stage and on our first two albums , will be fondly remembered by the rest of us, but also by fans around the world.”

Di’Anno joined Iron Maiden in 1978 and recorded two landmark albums with the band, Iron Maiden and Killers. Despite health problems that required Paul to use a wheelchair, he continued to perform into recent years, performing over 100 concerts in 2023 and 2024.

It was previously reported that director and producer Aaron Kaufman died on October 17 in Las Vegas at the age of 51.
