King Charles III will temporarily forego his weekly cancer treatment to make official visits to Australia and Samoa.
Britain’s King Charles III will stop his cancer treatment during important state trips.
According to the Daily Mail, the monarch is undergoing weekly treatment, which he decided to temporarily postpone due to official visits to Australia and Samoa. During the trip he will visit Sydney, Canberra and attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa.
The king’s doctors allowed him to take 11 days off from therapy. The trip was carefully planned with medical specialists so as not to harm the monarch’s health. Despite requests from his wife, Queen Camilla, and advisers to cut back on his work, Charles says his work gives him strength in difficult times.
Let’s remember that at the beginning of 2024, King Charles was diagnosed with a benign prostate tumor, then he was diagnosed with cancer.
It was previously reported that during a visit to Paris, the dinner of the British King Charles III became one of the biggest expenses of the Elysee Palace for 2023.
