After the fashion designer’s death in February 2019, Lagerfeld’s former housekeeper, Françoise Casot, became the cat’s owner.

Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette celebrated her 13th birthday at Versailles.

Celebration photos from this event were published on Instagram, where Choupette has more than 264 thousand subscribers. In the photos she posed against the backdrop of the famous Versailles castle, surrounded by cake, flowers and balloons.

In her “message,” Choupette “thanked” everyone for their congratulations and noted that she was celebrating her birthday with French elegance, paying tribute to the beauty of France.

Let’s remember that Karl Lagerfeld got a Burmese cat, Choupette, in 2011. She quickly became his favorite, traveling the world and living in luxury, which included personal maids, a security guard, a doctor and even a chef.
