Wesller Nascimento’s goals are to fight for LGBT+ and women’s rights and in defense of Culture
The city of Vilhena in Roraima has the chance to make its municipal legislature more diverse and humane with the pre-candidacy of Wesller Nascimento (PT) for city councilor. A gay and cis man, his goals are to fight for LGBT+ and women’s rights and in defense of Culture.
Wesller is the municipal president of the Workers’ Party and a well-known figure in the region’s demonstrations, mobilizations and campaigns in favor of human rights and a more just society.
To build a building very close to the population, his pre-candidacy has a formonline for everyone to say what they want to improve in the city of Vilhena. “The movement ‘What would Vilhena be like if it had your face?’ arises from the need to hear the silenced voices of Vilhena. Of the Vilhena of the neighborhoods, of the outskirts, of the people”, he explains.
“Come with us to discuss a city that should reflect our image too. What would Vilhena be like if it had your image? It’s more than a question, it’s an invitation to a collective city debate.”
