American actor Timothée Chalamet has been accused of toxic behavior on the set of a biopic about Bob Dylan.
Film industry insiders who worked with Timothée Chalamet on the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic Completely Unknown have spoken out about his toxic behavior, the Daily Mail reports.
According to some sources, the actor, known for his likable reputation through interviews and appearances on the show, behaved very differently on set. A crew member said: “He was so paranoid that he forbade us to look him in the eye or even introduce ourselves before starting work.
Insiders also reported an incident where Chalamet lost his temper and began “cussing” at a production assistant for accidentally being caught on camera while filming a solar eclipse. The bodyguard forced the woman to delete all the photos from her phone.
Chalamet then requested that the producers send an email to the entire cast and crew strictly prohibiting the use of cell phones around him.
The actor also “heated with rage when the crew watched him rehearse” and had a particular dislike for the stunt doubles who helped set up the equipment.
In addition, Chalamet received a one-man trailer with a bathroom at the last minute, forcing about 120 extras and 150 crew members to use another bathroom.
“He doesn’t care about anyone but himself,” says an insider.
However, according to insiders, the source of the toxic atmosphere on the set is not only Chalamet, but also the director of the film. They say Mangold was rude and cruel to subordinates, and once pushed an assistant away.
It was previously reported that fans of Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet expressed concern that the star duo had broken off their relationship after a year of dating.
