Space will offer legal, psychological, social services and professional training
On Friday, the 5th, Curitiba launched the first LGBTQIA+ Citizenship Center, a space designed to offer a range of services, including legal, psychological and social assistance, as well as health care, education, STI prevention and professional training for the LGBTQIA+ population. The project was made possible with the support of federal deputy Carol Dartora (PT-PR).

The space also seeks to raise awareness about human rights, provide advocacy skills, strengthen the community and expand economic and social inclusion. The project was developed in partnership with the National and Municipal LGBTQIA+ Council, the National Secretariat for the Rights of LGBTQIA+ People and the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), seeking to ensure a comprehensive support network for the community of Curitiba.
“The LGBTQIA+ Citizenship Center will aim to provide individual and collective emancipation, promote the defense of human rights and strengthen the self-esteem and self-confidence of those served,” celebrated the first black federal deputy from Paraná.
