“Bridgerton” heartthrob shares race for LGBT+ young people

Jonathan Bailey not only ran, but also raised the equivalent of 30 thousand dollars for the charity Just Like Us

In the wake of the premiere of the new season of “Bridgerton”, Jonathan Bailey continues to enchant us! The charming actor, also known for his roles in “Fellow Travelers” and the upcoming film “Wicked”, posted what we can call a true “thirst trap” on his Instagram – all for a good cause, of course!

Over the weekend, the Hackney Half Marathon took place in London (England). Thousands of runners took part to raise funds for their favorite charities, and Bailey ran on behalf of UK-based charity Just Like Us, which supports young LGBT+ people.

The star not only ran, but also raised the equivalent of 30 thousand dollars for the institution, which works with thousands of young people across the United Kingdom, combating bullying and promoting greater acceptance and visibility of LGBT+ people. When asked about the charity, Bailey stated, “I’ve met some of their youth ambassadors who visit schools, sharing their personal experiences about coming out, allying up and helping to end bullying. They inspired me to become a patron of this wonderful institution of charity.”

He added: “Just Like Us is doing essential work to ensure young people no longer grow up ashamed of being LGBT+. I’m honored to support this incredible cause and be part of the fight for a more inclusive future for everyone.”
