Victor Regis makes drawings with modern features, but carrying the good old feeling of creative power
You can remember the name Victor Regis, from Curitiba (PR), because he has plenty of talent to draw desires, colors, feelings and characters that explode on the screen. The design is strong, with sharp lines outlining muscles, giving courage and leaving space for a touch of eroticism – everyone likes it.
At 28 years old, he is “The Damn Thin Guy” to showcase his enormous capabilities as a freelance illustrator and comic artist. “I love playing video games, riding roller coasters and collecting records”, he says about himself – explaining many of his references when creating the works.
He has a degree in Digital Design and “my main source of income is comics and illustration”. In addition to commissions and freelance work, he also published ‘Hexile’ in 2016 and 2019 respectively.
The first printed edition was released in spring 2019, “with more to come very soon”, he promises. In 2021, he was featured in the anthology “Flash Facts”, published by DC Comics, in the story “If You Can’t Take the Heat”, written by Varian and Darian Johnson.
