American actress Sharon Stone is being sued for damages she allegedly caused in an accident that occurred in 2023. This is reported by People.
In particular, the star of the movie Basic Instinct was accused of speeding and making dangerous maneuvers, as a result of which he collided with another car and injured a woman. In this regard, the victim Amanda Godepski filed a claim for damages to property and personal injury in the Los Angeles Superior Court. He claims the damages exceed $35,000 and is seeking compensation for that amount.
According to court documents, the incident allegedly occurred on June 30, 2023, at the Coldwater Canyon Avenue exit of the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles.
The documents state that Stone’s actions violated at least three California vehicle codes, including speeding on highways, dangerous U-turns and dangerous lane changes.
This is not the first time Stone has been brought to court. In 2012, the actress was sued by her former nanny for violating labor laws and making disparaging comments about her ethnicity, a lawsuit that was eventually settled a year later.
