Representatives of the royal family will launch two popular science series on Netflix about cooking, gardening and professional polo.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing two new projects for Netflix. Deadline reported this.
It is noted that they are part of an overall agreement that they signed with the company in 2020 under the Archewell Productions brand.
The series, led by Meghan Markle, will explore the joys of cooking, gardening, leisure and friendship. The project will be directed by Michael Steed, who worked on Anthony Bourdain: Uncharted Lands, and the showrunner is Leah Chariton, producer of Selena Gomez’s cooking show Selena + Chef on HBO.
Another series will “give viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo,” a sport Prince Harry, 39, has played for decades.
“Known above all for its aesthetics and social impact, the series pulls back the curtain on the tenacity and passion of the sport, showcasing the players and all it takes to compete at the highest level,” the statement said.
Both series, which are still untitled, are in early stages of production.
It was previously reported that Meghan Markle decided to expand her range and added cosmetics to her trademark application.
